Carrie Fisher Dead at 60

It is with a heavy heart that I write with that one of the most talented, giving and well rounded no-bullshitter Carrie Fisher passed away earlier today.

Carrie Fisher in 2013

It was reported on the 23rd of December 2016 that minutes from landing at LAX (on the way from London promoting her last book ‘The Princess Diarist”) that she had suffered a major heart attack and was rushed to hospital immediately after landing.

For the few people that don’t know who she was, Carrie Fisher was a actress, screenwriter, author, and producer. She had many acting credits in many films like The Blues Brothers, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, When Harry Met Sally… . She got her acting start in a 1969 Tv movie called Debbie Reynolds and the Sound of Children. Her most famous role is that of Princess Leia Organa in the Star Wars film franchise. She appeared in the original trilogy (Episode 4, 5 and 6) and 2015’s Episode 7 The Force Awakens. Episode 8, as far as I know, would most likely be in the post production phase of the film. So if her involvement was not finished yet then director Rian Johnson you have a lot of work to do.

Carrie Fisher also wrote several novels starting off a semi-autobiography called ‘Postcards from the Edge’. Which in turn was produced into a feature film directed by Mike Nichols.

She is survived by her mother, Debbie Fisher, and her daughter, Billie Lourd.

Hello world!

Welcome to WillBeOne TechTips.

Soon to be the one stop shop for all of your  past, current and future for all your I.T queries.

* (when I somehow invent a flux capacitor).

I decided to start this site as a test as I like to always expand on my knowledge and skills. Plus for me there is no one that can know everything about everything I.T related. This site will endeavor to be a one stop shop for all steps you will need to sort out your I.T issues. For me there is nothing like learning something new that I have always wanted to learn.

This site will be split into 3 main categories:

  1. Tech Tips

These will be where I have written out tutorials on how to do something I.T related. Which could be from something easy as installing a program to setting your own website from your home.

2. Reviews

These will be for any and all Software (Windows and Linux as I will only by a Apple device when I decide that I want to pay 3 time the price of a mid-range laptop/desktop for a very limited use), Games (again, windows, Linux and Xbox ONE <even though I am PCMR>)

3. Tech News

These will be technical news posts that I have found interesting and think you should know about.

Well I will keep you all up-to-date and will endeavor to update this site at least once a day. Every day.

See you on the flip side everyone.

Christopher Hart.
